Handles

HANDLES

Handles are the jewellery of your kitchen. They sit on every door and drawer you touch, so the look and feel needs to match the rest of your project. At Kitchens U Build you have hundreds of profiles, sizes and finishes to choose from — in matt black, brushed nickel, brass, chrome, gunmetal, polished gold and just about every other finish on the market.

We work mainly with the BLUM handle range alongside a curated selection of Australian-made profiles, so the hardware on your kitchen carries the same reputation for engineering and durability as the cabinetry behind it. Whatever style your kitchen is heading toward — Hamptons, modern minimalist, rustic farmhouse, mid-century — there is a handle in our range that will pull the look together.

FOUR HANDLE FAMILIES TO CHOOSE FROM

PULLS & D-HANDLES: The classic choice for kitchen drawers and full-height pantry doors. Available in lengths from 64 mm right through to 480 mm, so you can run a single pull across a wide drawer or step the lengths through a bank of three. We can supply standard satin, matt black, brushed brass, chrome and gunmetal, and special-order in any other finish you fall in love with.

KNOBS & CUP HANDLES: Round, square, faceted, ceramic, leather-tipped — knobs and cup handles give a kitchen a softer, more traditional feel. Perfect for shaker doors, Hamptons projects and butler’s pantries. We carry classic profiles in store and can order specialty pieces in.

RAIL HANDLES & PUSH-TO-OPEN: For the streamlined look. Rail handles sit at the top of the door so the face stays completely uninterrupted. Push-to-open BLUM TIP-ON hardware removes handles entirely — you tap the door or drawer face and the cabinetry opens itself. Both options give you that ultra-modern, handle-less look without sacrificing how the kitchen feels to use.

FINGER PULLS & INTEGRATED PROFILES: Recessed J-pull, finger-pull and edge-pull profiles built into the door itself. No protruding hardware at all, just a clean, machined edge you tuck your fingers under. Ideal for high-traffic family kitchens where you do not want hardware catching on clothing or tea-towels.

MIX & MATCH: Plenty of our customers run one style of handle on the upper cabinets and a second profile on the drawers and base units — cup pulls below, knobs above, or rail handles on the island combined with traditional pulls on the perimeter. Your designer will help you find a combination that works for the proportions of your project.

TALK TO YOUR DESIGNER: Bring a photo of your finishes or a swatch and visit any of our nine showrooms — we have full sample boards of the most popular ranges in store, and we can order specialty finishes within a week.
